Description

Description Ready-made, industrial mortar based on Portland white cement of high strength (I – 52.5) limestone aggregate of selected granulometry, lime, and special additives to improve adhesion. Mixing with water only is required. This reduces the preparation time of the material to a minimum and increases the application speed of the material.

Uses It is used as a one-layer plaster on external and internal surfaces after the casting of high-strength plaster (SV 1). Replaces mud and marble by combining both in one layer. It is applied like the basic plaster and rubbed like the marble. The application thickness should not exceed 2.5 cm. Gives a smooth finish ready for sanding and painting, thanks to the nature and the fine particle size of the limestone aggregate (<2 mm). The application is done either by hand, with a trowel (for repairs), or with plastering presses. In special cases the product can be reinforced by the addition of MARMOLINE MP 20 resin.

Advantages High strength. Excellent adhesion. Resistance to moisture and frost. Internal and external use. Preparation speed – Ease of application. Excellent workability. Increased productivity – Reduction of labor. Smooth surface. Stable quality.

Method of Application Check the application surface if it is clean and if SV1 plaster has been cast before The surface to be plastered should be well moistened, especially during the summer months Mix by hand or with the use of special machines (mixers-presses) available from MARMOLINE. Install MARMOLINE angle caps inside. The use of angle caps increases the efficiency of the application while ensuring the resistance of the corners to minor shocks and the impeccable aesthetics of the final surfaces

Avoid the use of removable metal guides by using MARMOLINE galvanized metal guides. If this is not possible, the groove created after removing the guides should be well filled to prevent cracks. It is forbidden to use other materials for fixing the guides and the angle caps, such as plaster, etc. It is applied with the continuous mixing machine and with all the corresponding types of machines. For small surfaces (repairs) the material can be applied by hand. Apply in one layer and thickness up to 2.5 cm.

The use of MARMOLINE glass mesh is necessary in the joints of bricks with concrete elements, in the joists, in the plumbing and electrician channels. Attention must be paid to the placement of the glass mesh so that it swims inside the layer of plaster SV 60 to a depth of up to 0.5 cm from the outer layer of plaster

On surfaces insulated with expanded or extruded polystyrene, to prevent cracking, it is necessary to install the special MARMOLINE fiberglass in combination with the reinforced mortar adhesive plaster MARMOLINE FK 202. The layer SV 60 follows the application of the fibrous powder relevant technical brochure). Depending on the season and the ambient temperature, the application of SV 60 should be done at least 8 days later (summer) and at least 15 days later (in winter, without rain).

Allow the material to harden and scrape the surface with a metal spatula to even out any imperfections. Then wet the surface a little and with the help of a wet styrofoam or hard sponge shape the final surface. For the next 2-3 days, especially in summer, frequent wetting of the plaster is recommended to eliminate the possibility of cracks. The setting time (pulling) depends on the environmental conditions and the thickness of the layer. In winter this time can exceed 2 hours, while in summer it can be less than an hour.
