Description
Description Ready-made industrial mortar based on Portland white cement of high strength (I – 52.5) fine-grained aggregate from white Dionysus marble, lime, and special additives to improve adhesion and achieve waterproofing. Mixing with water only is required. ‘This reduces to a minimum the preparation time of the material and increases the application speed.
Uses It is used during the application of the three-layer technique, as a final layer of plaster (marble) on external surfaces which have been previously leveled with SV 2 base layer plaster. – semi-mountainous areas, etc. Thanks to the nature and the fine granulometry of the Dionysus marble (<1.2 mm) that it contains, it gives a white and smooth final surface ready for sanding and painting. In special cases the product can be further enhanced by the addition of MARMOLINE MP 20 resin.
Advantages High strength. Excellent adhesion. Resistance to moisture and frost. Internal and external use. Preparation speed – Ease of application. Excellent workability. Water repellent. Smooth – White surface. Avoid cracks. Stable quality.
Method of Application Apply after the base coat plaster SV 2 (or TL 2) and after it has dried completely (15 – 20 days in summer, more than 1 month in winter). Check the surface to be plastered so that it is clean and free of loose materials and wet the Mix by hand or in a concrete mixer or press Apply the mud to the wall either with a trowel or with a machine. Apply in a layer about 0.5 cm thick, and apply with the fork. Let the plaster pull. For the final configuration of the surface, rub with a trowel, as is done with traditional materials.
For the next 2-3 days, especially in summer, frequent wetting of the plaster is recommended to eliminate the possibility of cracks. Do not interrupt work on single surfaces to avoid shadows. Mixing water: 5 – 6 lt / bag. Plaster FP 140 can be painted with natural pigments MARMOLINE POWDER COLOR, following their instructions Standards European Standard EN 998.1: 2010 (GP / CSII / Wc1) Granulometry: 0 – 1 mm.
