FK 202 WHITE REINFORCED COATING FOR EXTERIOR HEAT INSULATION – MONOSIS

Ready-made, white, special industrial fiber-reinforced mortar, cement-based, based on high-strength white Portland cement (I – 52,5), reinforced with polymer components of aggregate of selected granulometry, fibers and special additives for adhesion to the surfaces of thermal insulation boards.

It is used for the coating of the thermal insulation boards from expanded or extruded polystyrene and stone wool, for the reinforcement of these surfaces in combination with a suitable MARMOLINE glass mesh, on external and internal surfaces of buildings. It is also used as an adhesive for gluing thermal insulation boards to surfaces such as concrete, bricks, plaster, cement blocks, aerated concrete, stone, etc. on exterior and interior of buildings. It is part of the certified external thermal insulation system (ETICS) MARMOLINE MONOSIS.

• Check the substrate for clean materials, dust, etc.
• Mix well, with a low speed electric drill, a 25 kg bag with about 6 liters of clean water, until a homogeneous sticky mass without lumps is achieved. Allow the mixture to mature for 5-10 minutes and stir again for a while.
• As an adhesive, apply FK 202 on the entire surface of the insulating plate, in a thickness of 2-3 mm, with a notched trowel or with the help of an automatic press, or around the perimeter of the plate and then at selective points in its center, the adhesive is sufficient cover at least 40% of the insulator surface.
• The installation of thermal insulation boards should be done starting from the bottom of the masonry upwards, crosswise without gaps.
• As a reinforced mortar, apply the material with a notched trowel in a layer thickness of 2-3 mm. Place a suitable glass mesh in this layer and with the help of a smooth spatula dip it in it. The strips of the grid should overlap by about 10 cm. At the end, the surface is sanded with the simultaneous removal of unnecessary mortar.
• The time of use of the ready mixture is 2-4 hours, depending on the ambient temperature and the season.

For best final result, the user is recommended to use this product in combination with the other products that make up the certified ETICS system of MARMOLINE.
